To Our Intrepid Reporter... In the middle of wrestling a car on wild roads and having to keep one eye on the clock (not too fast, not too slow but juuuuussst right...), you have time to write a factual account of your adventure. Great reporting and attention to detail. And let us not forget the photographs. Safe travels home. Bruce
ReplyDeleteDear Stan, it's been amazing to follow you rally through your eyes, mind, social history and camera! For those of us who are neither racing nor traveling to such out of the beated track places and challenging routes - you have provided a very special opportunity to enjoy an "insiders" perspective. Quite remarkable for me to realize that regardless of the length and roughness of the trip - it is still measured in seconds, just like a 100 yard dash! What is most appreciated is the fact that you were able to combine in such a fascinating way an account of the rally progress, the state of the car and team, and the terrain - all with historical, social, economic and political observations! Great job! Y'shar Koach on the finnish, and many thanks for sharing the experience with your friends and family. Fond regards from Jerusalem, Uri
